Tropical Weaving House is a north-facing residence that requires shading from the sun throughout the day. As a renovation project, it aims to enhance cross-ventilation by capturing the east wind while blocking the harsh west sun. Custom Wind Panel Louvres are designed to reflect Indonesia’s essence while complementing the modern structure. These panels use eco-friendly synthetic rattan made from premium recycled materials and natural fibers. A galvanized steel frame with a zinc alloy coating ensures durability in the tropical climate. Additional insulation comes from a snow roof product to protect the balcony from heat. The interior renovation will continue over the next few years. The owners plan to move in permanently once all renovations are complete.
